Withdrawal Policies
Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing submitted manuscripts, as this practice results in a significant waste of valuable resources, including the time and effort invested by editors and reviewers in the peer review process and the publisher's financial and operational resources.
Suppose an author insists on withdrawing a manuscript during the peer review stage. In that case, they will be required to pay a withdrawal penalty of Rs.10,000 for Indian authors and $200 for authors outside India per manuscript to the publisher. It is important to note that withdrawing a manuscript after acceptance by another journal while still under review at the International Journal of Engineering and Information Management (IJEIM) is considered unethical.
Should an author withdraw a manuscript after it has been accepted for publication, they will incur a penalty of Rs.30,000 for Indian authors or $500 for authors outside India per manuscript. The withdrawal will only be processed once the penalty has been fully settled.
Failure to comply with these penalties will result in the author and their affiliated institutions being blocked from future submissions to the journal. In addition, any previously published articles by the author may be removed from the journal's online database.
