Checklist

Please ensure all of the following technical and content-related tasks have been accomplished before you have your final 'camera-ready' paper for publication.

  1. Formatting and Layout
  • Paper format: Ensure the manuscript adheres to the journal's required template (e.g., font size, margins, spacing, etc.).
  • Title and abstract: The title is clear, concise, and relevant; the abstract provides a brief yet comprehensive overview.
  • Figures and tables: All figures and tables are correctly numbered, titled, and placed appropriately within the text.
  • Captions: Ensure figure and table captions are accurate and informative.
  • Citations: Ensure that all used references are in the journal’s mandated format and are uniform in style throughout the entire paper.
  • References list: Ensure all cited sources are included in the reference list and adhere to the journal's guidelines. 

 

  1. Technical Quality
  • Figures resolution: Ensure all figures (graphs, charts, images) are high-resolution and suitable for print (typically 300 dpi or higher).
  • Equations: Using the appropriate equation editor or LaTeX syntax, check that mathematical equations are formatted and readable.
  • File format: Ensure the final document is saved in the journal's format (e.g., PDF, Word).
  1. Content check
  • Spelling and grammar: Thoroughly proofread the paper for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
  • Clarity and conciseness: Review each section to ensure that the text is clear, concise, and accessible of redundancy.
  • Completeness: Ensure all sections (e.g., Introduction, Background, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion) are complete and in the correct order.
  • Author information: Confirm that all author names, affiliations, and contact information are correct and consistently listed.
  1. Compliance with Submission Guidelines
  • License and rights: Verify compliance with copyright agreements or licensing requirements (e.g., Creative Commons License).
  • Supplementary material: Ensure any supplementary material (e.g., datasets, appendices) is correctly formatted and submitted if required.
  • Ethical standards: Ensure any statements about ethical approval (for human/animal subjects) are included where necessary.
  1. Final Checks
  • Plagiarism check: Ensure the paper passes a plagiarism detection tool and all sources are appropriately cited.
  • Conflict of interest statement: Include any declarations of potential conflicts of interest.
  • Author agreement: Confirm that all authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the paper.
  1. Submission Process
  • Submission platform: Log in to the journal’s submission system and follow the steps for final submission.
  • Review checklist: Complete any pre-submission checklists or forms required by the journal.
  • Proof of payment: Ensure the article processing charge has been paid (Only after acceptance).
